¿Cómo puedo obtener un imagen de un vídeo con este código.?

Question

Tengo este código pero no se como sacar un imagen .JPG o .PNG de un vídeo y NO QUIERO usar FFMPEG para hacer eso y Buscando encotre este codigo y quiero ver si se puede hacer lo que dice porque yo no lo he podido hacer por eso quiero de su ayuda aqui pongo la funte y espero que me ayuden y Gracias link: https://gist.github.com/adamjimenez/5917897
