me han pedido que crear un juego de hangman para android y tengo practicamente todo, pero, me esta dando error en esta linea de codigo:

letterPressed(letters)

letters es un GridView y me da este error en el log:

 java.lang.ClassCastException: android.widget.GridView cannot be cast to android.widget.TextView

Este es mi GameActivity, una observacion, soy nuevo tratando con los GridView

El problema indica que no puedes realizar el casting de un GridView a TextView:

java.lang.ClassCastException: android.widget.GridView cannot be cast to android.widget.TextView

El problema lo puedes ver aquí,

obtienes la referencia de un GridView

 letters = (GridView)findViewById(R.id.letters);

lo envias al método

letterPressed(letters);

pero en este método tratas de realizar un casting de la vista que recibes que en realidad es un GridView a un TextView lo cual es incorrecto.

public void letterPressed(View view) {
    String ltr=((TextView)view).getText().toString();
    ...

Para evitar este problema debes asegurar que el método letterPressed(...); reciba siempre vistas que sean del tipo TextView.
