¿Como mostrar en jframe los resultados de la sentencia sql?

Quisiera saber que estoy haciendo mal en el código, resulta que intento conseguir los datos de la sentencia sql en el JFrame. les dejo el codigo lo que llevo

Para mostrar el resultado de una sentencia SQL lo mejor suele ser mostrarlo mediante un JTable.

Te defines un JTable con el número de columnas igual al número de campos que quieres que se muestren del resultado de la select y sin filas.

Dentro del bucle que tienes:

while(rs.next){
...
}

Vas incrementando el tamaño del JTable mientras haya registros y le asignas a cada columna el valor que quieres

Te daré dos buenas prácticas cuando trabajes con Swing/JavaFX.

1. Utiliza el patrón VO para mapear tus tablas a objetos.
2. Aprovecha siempre que puedas las clases genéricas de controles en Swing.
3. Nunca mezcles lógica de negocio con vistas.

Utilizar el patrón VO

Es muy recomendable utilizar el patrón VO cuando trabajes con bases de datos. Al mapear una tabla a un objeto, encapsulas toda esta información en objetos Java, de tal manera que puedes acceder a la información de manera clara, limpia y concisa.

Aprovechar las clases genéricas de Swing/JavaFX

En JTable no hay modo utilizar Generics porque no JTable no es genérica, sin embargo puedes hacerlo haciendo un DefaultTableModel. Sin embargo, en algunos controles como JList o JComboBox es posible asociar un determinado tipo de dato que puede ser un objeto al control.

Para mostrar una List de objetos en tu JTable, es más fácil usando el patrón VO.

Nunca mezcles código de negocio con vistas

Esto es quizás el punto más importante de los tres. Mezclar código de negocio con vistas es sentenciar tu aplicación al fracaso inminente. Una aplicación que no establece capas simplemente no puede escalar (crecer en un futuro, añadiéndose funcionalidad). Además, llegará un punto en que es una tortura mantenerlo, porque todo está enredado. Una auténtica maraña.
